I know this is a real tool. I have a real marked tool and they are identical in look and function. I’ve seen and used the reproductions and they are easy to spot. I got this tool with a byf 42 and was wondering if these markings have any meaning?
  2. 1933-1945: Luger Holsters -Magazines
Recently aquired byf 42 pistol all matching metal parts with repro black plastic grips. Questions concerning the mag being correct (and not doctored with) to this variation. See pics. Mag is numbered to gun. Legit or no? Also looking to replace repro plastic grips with historically accurate...

I was shooting my new byf 42 luger yesterday and was getting some stovepipes. I used the same ammo in my 1939 luger and it ran great. What ammo have y'all used that has worked great in the byf 42 lugers? The ammo I was using was simple Winchester white box 9mm full metal jacket.

Just got this Luger. Byf 42, really beautiful gun. But I do notice these crack like lines. The previous owner had fired it without problems and the barrel extension makes that good resonant hum it’s supposed to when you flick it like a tuning fork. Brownells says that means the barrel extension...

Hi, Been a long time lurker, but I can't seem to find the info I want. I have a BYF42, with a gray finish, And a blued mismatched toggle, And a new no number, blued, 6 inch barrel. I got it for $600, so don't feel too sad. My question is, what the heck is the gray finish? I want to...

Hi folks, came across luger in my travels and want to know if it is all original and what the value may be. I took as many pictures as seemed pertinent to the item. I certainly appreciate any expert advice that you all can offer including any details about the item in relations to its...
