  2. 1933-1945: Mauser Lugers. Army, Navy, Police
Good morning, good evening, good afternoon - A store within a 1.5 hour drive of me has a rough looking G Date for sale with the relatively common double DE/63 inspection marks. They have sent me a few pictures of the piece and it appears to be matching, but their listed price for condition is...
  3. 1900-1918 : German (non-P08) Pistols & Holsters
Hi everyone, and thanks for letting me in. I just bought this small beauty, and it arrived by post just after I left for my workrotation in the oilfields offshore... So, I haven't held it yet, let alone seen it with my own eyes 😀 It is a very early gun, #264. It has no markings on one side of...
  4. 1933-1945: Mauser Lugers. Army, Navy, Police
Seller sent me these pictures but I'd like to make sure before I go through with the purchase of 1.5k if that's worth it? All seems to be matching other than the magazine. I do not really know anything about Lugers so if anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  5. 1920-1933: DWM Lugers. Army, Navy, Police
I have been trying to figure out what the unit marking on my luger are to get a little more history on it. It appears to have been stamped over, or maybe a mistake when stamping. Can anyone identify this marking? This luger is 1921 DWM other than that I'm lost on where is been.
  6. 1900-1918 : German (non-P08) Pistols & Holsters
I have recently received what I believe to be a 9mm Mauser C96. I have not figured out whether it is an authentic "Red 9" or not. Upon carefully dropping a pin into the barrel, I got a rough I.D of .348. Which makes me believe it is a 9mm. It also comes with the 500 yard sights, 14 inch barrel...

  8. Mauser Pistols, Revolvers & Holsters, 1968-now
I have been thinking about picking up a interarms Mauser Luger and wanted to know peoples personal or otherwise take on the actual quality of the guns themselves. They look nice and they are good bit cheaper than many original Lugers. And many of them are still in new or fairly new condition...

I have been talking to Vance Hallock, Don's son. Don had acquired a collection of over 300 mags, Vance has been selling luger magazines from the collection on ebay and he thought there might be folks interested in talking to him direct. I have bought some Simson magazines, but there are a few of...
  10. Swiss Firearms
Hello guys, i am looking to buy this Luger from a guy. He says that this is a swiss Luger made in Germany? This pistol has never been shot and i want to ask if this pistol is valuable? The seller says this is a 9mm, but i know that swiss Lugers often use .30 luger ammo, so is 9mm rare? Thank...

  12. German: German Mfg. (non-P08) Pistols & Holsters.
Hello, I'm curious about what is known as the C96 French Gendarmerie model I know that there was a small contract of approximately 2000 guns. Is there a serial number range for the contract? Also were they all fitted with 50-100m Tangent sights? Were there any models known to be fitted with...

If anyone has this book, I had a huge request please. On page 772 luger 1098x is supposed to be featured. I sadly don't have this set yet, so was hoping someone who did would be able to confirm or deny it for me. Thanks!

I recently bought a 1942 Commercial Mauser HSc, (SN 803915, Peak Production). I posted info about it on the Mauser HSc DATA thread (Post 375) a couple of weeks ago, so the SN and markings could be added to the database. I posted pictures as well. This thread had not seem any activity since...
  17. 1933-1945: Mauser Lugers. Army, Navy, Police
https://www.gunbroker.com/item/829242344 I recently bought this gun and am wondering if I got a good/reasonable deal on it. I saw other all matching "nazi" Lugers on GunBroker sell for $2500+. The magazine possibly does not match, how much would that effect its price? Any...
