WTB a Springfield 1911 barrel for a 1914 yr. model, marked on the chamber end with an M or MD and a P on the left lug. I would prefer one in good condition, but will consider any of lesser condition. Thanks very much.
Here is my late 1915 Springfield m1911, serial 114922. There were approximately 26k Springfield pistols manufactured during WW1.
All parts are correctly marked with the "S" with the exception of the extractor.
When I picked this up it had a Colt H P barrel. There were 7 different...
Wanted to buy - Springfield M1911 barrel, marked P on left side, and S on the right side of the lug and marked S on the hood of the barrel. This barrel would be correct for serials 113,497 - 127,000. Barrel located and purchased!
