1902 Carbine sold for $47,500 at RIA today May 20 2023

Those auctions go so fast, but I was stunned that someone would shell out $50,000 in just seconds.
I think there were only 2 bidders for this gold filled Vickers 1920 Carbine with a stock.

I have never seen one - wasn't even aware Vickers made Carbines.

The description does not say Vickers made. It's DWM made, presented to Vickers.

Cartridge Counter #22420 sold $50k.

Another Mauser CC reproduction also sold $5k. Actually, LMA is listing a NIB Mauser CC on gunbroker asking $5k, no one wants it, and bidders went to RIAC paying $5k plus 17.5% buyer's premium. Not sure why .. NIB vs NIB, there is no condition difference.
