I have a 1908 police rework which has a holdopen numbered wrongly to the gun.It is the correct fire blued type. When these guns were being reworked were parts replaced with parts from other guns? Would this lessen the value of the gun?

Thanks Roy

Thanks guys for your input. Let me ask you another question regarding this gun...have you ever seen a police holster with the vertical closing strap attached to the flap of the holster and the brass button on the body of the holster....the reverse from the usual????

This gun came with this holster, which is numbered to the gun and has the same police unit marks as the gun. The takedown tool is also numbered to the gun, as is the two mags.

I haven't gotten around to taking detailed photos but I took this one to show you the holster I will take more of the gun later. It has the sear safety and the grips have the slot for the mag. safety.
