Jan,

Please add pistol #1398 Wn 16 to your records. I would not have realized what I have had for a decade without looking over a friend's copy of your book on the Central Powers.
Thanks!
I have trouble posting photos to this site. If you wish to see some appropriately sized photos of this pistol via e-mail let me know where to send them.

Hi,

I have an original Austrian Army Steyr Hahn brown leather holster that I will be selling soon. (See post 'Help identifying holsters) for pics.

Can anyone give me a clue as to it's value?

Q. I believe that 300,000 M12's were produced. Does that make them rare or common?

Thanx.

Bumping this, as I own a 1916 dated Bavarian Steyr Hahn. This is a great thread, and I'm wondering if anyone has general info regarding how the Bavarians typically issued the Steyrs (artillery, officers, etc.)?

I found a Steyr mod. 1912 dated 1916, sn 7311 and on right side of lanyard ring the unit mark 74.R.122.
Best regards,
Carlo
