A fellow member requested some pics of Mauser holsters, so here goes. I am very comforable with the pedigree of the two hardshell holsters. The holster on the right is pictured on page 144 of Vol. III of Whittington's book. The only difference is mine is totally unmarked and has steel rivets on the belt straps. He lists it as being for a Mauser 1934 or HSc. The Hardshell on the left is, I believe a 20 or 30's vintage police hardshell. IT is maker marked on the back, but no date. The holster in the center is probably of commercial make, no markings I can find, and although it fits the Mauser perfectly, It may be a "generic" type intended for a variety of similiar sized pistols.
Hope this helps. runner
