Odd. Didn't they apply a fractur stamp when a gun was repaired or altered? I am thinking the hold opens. What does the serial under the barrel look like?

I don‘t have access to Don Maus‘ latest works. Based on perusing several related old threads, did he (or somebody else) ever settle the question whether Command 5 (Roman numeral V) of the Schutzpolizei Düsseldorf was Krefeld-Uerdingen or Mönchengladbach?
