Dear Friends:
I purchased a 1915 DWM 9mm Luger this afternoon from a private sale. I am not all that excited about an early DWM luger but this one was something. Blueing is at least 98% and strawing was maybe 50%. How can such a nice pistol have no wear on the blueing and straw looks silver like white steel? This Luger seems to be hardly handled!
Everything matches and will post pictures when I pick it up! Here in New York takes a few days for the paperwork to be processed!
Serial number is #4035E. It is amazing that this pistol can survive 89 years and be in this condition!
Regards,
George
PS All I need now is a 1915 dated holster!
