Looked at a DWM 1918-1920 rework. It started life as a long p08. it now has a four inch barrel with matching serial. barrel has no proof marks. only other mark on barrel is gauge number. pistol has a sear safety. comes with 1934 marked police holster. pistol is in 80-90%. bore is bright and clean. one wood bottom magazine matches. seller is asking 1900. question i have is does this rework sound correct? does price seem right? thanks, john

Without pictures hard to judge, sounds like it COULD be a correct police and sounds like the price is a bit high, a gun that could rate 80% and unknown condition of holster, and are all parts matching....just does not sould like I would jump on it....get us some pictures and a real tight discription and perhaps we may be of better help....

Thanks for the advice. will try to get some pictures. all the numbers match. has original imperial proofs on right receiver. witness mark on barrel and receiver looks perfect which seems strange if barrel has been replaced. john
