HI! In researching this 1918 stamped Luger I have not encountered a number in the usual Suffix place before. There is no typical Suffix letter present.

Can anyone please help me identify this #? It looks like 3,84.

It's the bore diameter.

It's a poorly stamped 8,84 and represents the bore diameter in MM and is .348". Much more common is 8,82 and 8,83 in my experience.
