Can someone tell me what causes the plum coloring on the slides
of the model 1934 Berettas and does this affect the value of the
pistol? Thanks "Skip"

Experts tell me that it is of one of two reasons, either insufficent bluing salts or temperature of bluing tank not hot enough.
