Lloyd, here is a pic of the set up I use. Nothing fancy, but is does the job. I use two desk lamps one from either side to kill any shadows. Set your camera to manual and adjust for correct exposure. I also use a polarizer to reduce glare. To avoid blurred pics I use the time delay feature. Still experimenting on what color background to use. So far have found that colored paper is not good, neither is crushed velour. I think a good red or Royal blue is the best so far.
