Tuco, in case you missed the last one , please pay attention to this example. Not rare but acceptable for the time being. Your attention to an upgrade of the proper magazines quality would however be appreciated.

I would say that the slide color is pretty close to being accurate. Maybe not quite as pinkish. The full scan of the pistol on either the right or left side would be considered exact color of gun and its slide as opposed to the close ups.

I've had numerous M-1934 Beretta's over the years, and yes many of the early 1940's production examples appear to have purple colored slides. It's also referred to as "plum" color by some collectors. Regards, Dom Pastore

But Tuco, you did not mention what sources are available for me in order to upgrade my SA marked Beretta magazines.

Sorry have been really busy as of late. Very nice!!!

You see this plum color on many Finnish reworks - rifles and pistols. I was told this had something to do with the temp they were blued (reblued) at.
Many of the these pistols that never made it to Finland are found with slides of this coloration.

Hi. I don't know too much about the Finn-issued guns, (although I'ld love to find a couple), but alot would depend on condition. If it was 90% or better, I would grab it myself. If you have changed your mind and it is still available, please let me know. Thanks and good luck to you. Dave
