This is a model 1934 correct? The crown over RE is an Italian military acceptance stamp. The grips appear to be replacements. I can't see the slide date but it most likely 1939 according to the serial number.

Does the serial number on the barrel match the gun?

Those are cool grips, where did you get em? I would like to have a set of those for my 1935. Looks alot more comfortable than the plastic/metal ones on mine.

Hello people, I have had this since 1950. the grips are what was on it, the madalions on the grips look like a eagle holding a shield, and have Franzite written on them. yes its says 1934. and I belive the date is 1938 XVI
