Gun is 1469n, O2573 on front strap. Now, the fun begins, there is a larger triangular bodied eagle proof on the left barrel just ahead o the receiver and another on the receiver just in front of the serial. It has a distinct head and long inverted curved top U shaped wings w/a feather at the lower end, its talons are holding a circled swastika. I cant find this proof in any reference work I have. I also bought a $400 camera to post pictures of this stuff and I cant figure out how to make it go..........Is there anyway to post a drawing?????????

Its hard to tell, but it sounds like you may be talking about the type proof described below. Costanzo page 106 says in referring to this navy stamp "ultra rare navy proof, beware of fakes"
