I am about to acquire this holster, looks like some of the stitching is missing on the back as well as well as on the closure strap. Should I go about having it repaired or leave it as is?
Thanks,

CB

Yes, the holster is nice enough to be repaired.

The Master of all leather could fix it so you could never tell.

Any suggestions as to who can do the work?
Jerry has retired. I don't know who could do it.
Bill, nice leather. Jerry has hung up the stitching needles, so I cannot give you a recommendation. For now, I would leave well enough alone until someone with a portion of the skill he has comes along. Jerry is a master of his craft, and has left a major void in our hobby.

Look up a guy calling himself "Mr Tolly"/Fatman leather website. He's done a few of mine, and does a great job. He even used my Finn holster in a YouTube demo -

Holy smokes he sounds just like John Goodman.
Is he on the forum? And if no, he should be, especially with Jerry retiring. :)

I sent an email to Fatman Leather waiting to get a response.

Will do, it will be a couple of weeks before I take possession of the holster, I’m off to Normandy to visit the landing beaches.

Bill:

There also appears to be an issue with mold and that needs to be addressed.

Many posting here that address the mold issue.

Regards,

George
