Very nice pistol, John -- Looks almost new!. I have one in the more common 7.65mm but both are hard to find these days. Thanks for sharing it.

Cannot make out the lettering in the group marking on the grip strp. Could you please provide the information.

A very interesting SA pistol. I have a couple of SA marked .22 cal, 98K style rifles.

SA der NSDAP
Gruppe Sudwest 187

Compliments out of Europe for this gem. They are very hard to find, and this condition is splendid indeed!
SN 121218P is made in 1939. Above the extractor I see a proof mark, for the
serial range above 109822P it could be Crown above N or an Eagle above N, they seem to have been stamped mixed untill SN 193912P (1941).
