could someone tell me what month a k suffix 1936 luger was made and is a 36 worth more or the same as a 38 luger in the same condition and if more how much more thinking of trading for one,thanks

S/42 1936 bigin to 5000f to 4500p without "j" so about 89.500 built and "k" just middle year. The little piece are strawed.
S/42 1938 from 400b to 4500n without "j" so about 113.800 and all blued.

Bigron, all else being equil, the 1936 is worth more than a 1938, at least in my opinion.

You are right. I just bought my first luger, 1936 with an O suffex. the blue book puts a %20 premium on 36 over other year stamped s/42
