if you had a chance to buy a 37 mauser s/42 or a byf 41 both in around the same condition 97% original finnish and around the same price which one is the one to get,thanks
I would go for the 1937 just because I like the earlier guns. However, if the 41 has ORIGINAL black grips and you are into the so called "Black Widow" thing it may be a better investment.
If the 1937 is a first variation (strawed small parts) go for it first. If not, then it's a toss up. Remember Dave's suggestion regards a byf 41 with Black Bakelite Grips, it's a better value!!
