While looking on eBay for Luger stuff, I came across a strange listing for a Luger magazine listed as a "rare" 380 Auto, made in Japan.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-LU...D-JAPAN-HTF/113695220247?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649
This sort of rang a bell, as I used to own a MGC Luger PlugFire prop gun. In looking at the photos posted by the seller, I recognize the look of the magazine, and specifically the fact that it had Japan on it. I never tried to put any real ammo in my MGC magazine, but I do remember that the ammo size was a bot odball (smaller) as to prevent someone from putting real ammo in it
My concern is that someone will buy it and somehow manage to put live ammo (380 Auto) and hurt themselves.
I asked th eseller to chnage the listing description or remove it, but he has ignored my messages. So the question is, would you think it's a good idea to ask eBay to remove the listing?
Is it possible that this could actually be something for a real firearm? I'm almost 100% sure it's from a MGC Luger prop.
