Looks like the chamber date is 1941 to me. The serial number of 9749y doesn't fit in the 1941 range. Very interesting!! E/L, not drilled for a sear safety, black grips makes me think of late 1942. Beautiful Luger! Maybe they put it all together with the parts they had at the end of Luger production.

The yellow-orange color is particular to this variation of Mauser police banner, dated 41 ... It is a rather rare model!

This pistol came to me with two different magazines. 1 was a standard fxo marked magazine with black base. The 2nd is an fxo type unmarked and unnumbered.
