Here's what I know on serial #2 .45 Luger aka Aberman gun. The gun was left at Springfield after the trials of 1907 and was purchased by Dr. C.L. Mc Clenathen of Akron Ohio in 1913.The Doctor responded to a want ad placed in the American Rifleman by Warren G Ogden who was stationed at Erie Proving Ground also in Ohio. Mr Ogden purchased this gun Sept.15,1944 for the sum of $150.00 (one hundred fifty dollars). Mr. Ogden then sold this gun to his good friend Sid Aberman in May of 1949.
