Peter, nice guns!

Is it possible to upload pictures directly to THIS forum? In that way the pictures stay for a long period of time, otherwise many times the pictures are deleted or taken off of the persons website and the learning example we had, no longer exists...

I had just #55 originally, and just happened to stumble across #54 at another collectors.

The guy who had it(#54) would not sell, but I got it in the end.. But it was not cheap at all... Both guns came to Norway during WW2, and I bought both in the same area. The guns had been apart for 55 years. Now they will be togheter as long as I own them... :)

Next project is to find two original P38-holsters with the same code and both stamped "1942".

I wonder what the odds are of even comming into contact with two sequentially numbered pistols, even if they were sent with the same unit to the same area 60-some years ago. It's a remarkable story and even more remarkable that you were able to acquire both. I'm curious, did the original owner of #54 KNOW you had #55? I imagine if so that that heavily influenced the price!
