I just acquired this unusual P.38, unlike the byf 44's with mixed stamps a Walther gun having these markings is extremely rare. Mauser produced 5,000 mixed stamped guns before they officially went to WaA135 from e/135. Walther never used WaA359 on any P.38s other than a handful of pistols in 1941. See Buxton Volume 1 page 178.
