Presenting Sauer M1930, SN 184483, one of the 20 Amsterdam Police test/ evaluation pistols produced by Sauer. I checked the gun out
with Jim Cate, and he agreed it must be one. Key features are: A standard safety, rather than the hooked one required for the Dutch contract, Standard black plastic grips insted of the mottled grey standard ones, and the lack of a magazine safety. The Amsterdam Police are the only known customer who ordered guns without a magazine safety. The identical pistol can be found on page 104 of Cate's Sauer & Sohn, Volume II.
