I noticed this proof on my 1921/1920 re-work. The only reference I have is Lugers at Random. It's not shown. Can someone identify it for me? I'm aware that it's incomplete. What does the complete proof look like? Thanks! Ron

It is a Weimar Era acceptance stamp or test proof found on the right receiver and barrel of mostly 1920 and 1921 dated alphabet DWM Lugers.

Jan, thankyou! It's a learning experience. I love this stuff. I wish I had kept the 5 or 6 Lugers I've owned in the past. Just used them as shooters, got bored, and traded them off."They were just Lugers". Had no idea of the fine points and detail to be learned.
