This is the 7.65 version of the 1915 which is often referred to as the 1915/17 or 1917. Grips are original. IIRC the metal grips are found on post war examples. It's a little hard to read the S/N but if its 50k+ then they are probably original to that gun. Wartime production ended somewhere in the 50k range.
