Hello Gents, I have two questions regarding two pistols I own, firstly my Beretta 35 has the 4ut marking on the right side of the frame and I have noticed all I have seen on the internet have it stamped on the left side, my left side has a lion/crown while the 4ut is on the right, any signifigance to this? Secondly my CZ27 has no serial number on the frame it is on the slide only, the gun is Bohmisch marked without fnh, any signifigance to this? Thanks for any help, these things have me stumped.

Can't help much on the Beretta, but the Cz-27 I can tell you that there is a block of serial numbers some where between 200,000 and 250,000 that have no serial numbers on the frames.

your Beretta is o.k. . You can find both variations on M.35 pistols !

Mostly the 4UT stamping is on the left side.

I have saw photos on these boards of German troops wearing/holding CZ pistols but does anyone have any photos they could post or link to of German troops armed with Beretta pistols? I would be interested to see that.
