A few years ago. A friend gave me these grips. He said he got them in Germany. I'm not sure what they are,maybe a East German rework? Anyway I use these grips whenever I fire my Lugers. I'v had problems with orginal grips cracking.

I could be wrong, but There were a pair like that on an East German VOPO Luger I saw at a show.

Hi Dow, Those are Russian grips. EG Vopos have a target logo on them.

I´ve got an identical pair - and gave one to Römmler. Got them from Werle (the Luger gunsmith) who put them on a repair that I´d sent him without grips. They are the worst looking grips I´ve ever come across. Römmler also said that they must be Russian as the filler material (saw dust) is mixed in with the resin.
