Is it just me, but how can someone want such a high price for a common 41/byf Luger, Even with accessories? We all know the term Black Widow is a American made up word.

I like nice guns, but sometimes I think.... hmmmmm, $1800 special luger, or TWO nice more common ones.... $3.9 k, can get me TWO really special ones....

I recently sold a mint byf 41 with outstanding holster, two FXO mags and tool for $2500. I thought the price was fair, as the pistol itself is probably worth about $1800.

Makes one wonder considering the number of fake black grips out there - I have seen some excellent fakes and some that are laughable!

Prices such as you mention on the 41 byf,($3900.00), makes me very glad that I started collecting in the eary 1960's when prices were reasonable.

Someone may choose to pay that amount, but I don't think I will!
