Broomhandle info needed
Gentlemen,
It turns out my dad has an old Broomhandle Mauser serial number 248450. It is completely matching as I field stripped it and cleaned her. The gun has been sitting around for many, many, many years but the bore is bright and shiney and after a bath in my ultrasonic cleaner about 30% blue showed up on the slightly pitted surfaces.
Well we shot the gun (50 rounds) and it functions perfectly. Does anyone know when this was manufactured based on the serial number?
Also the grips are marked 6BI on one side and IA on the other. Any ideas?
