Today I bought a Browning M1910/22 in kaliber 7,65mm. The serialnumber is 22660. It is marked with the WaA613 stamp.
My question is this;
The gun is completely untouched, and comes with a complete rig (HK luftwaffe holster and two WaA613 magazines), but both magazines are marked "9mm". Both mags function perfectly in the gun with 7,65mm ammo. Are theese magazines the original mags for this gun? Are there any Browning M1910/22s, marked with the WaA613, known to be originally delivered with magazines marked "9mm" and WaA613?
The gun, holster and both magazines are the original ones. The complete rig was taken in this way in may 1945 from a local Luftwaffe station here in Norway. The elderly man I bought the gun from is the man that took the gun in 1945.
I will post pictures in a couple of weeks. I just need to get the papirwork through the norwegian police, so that I can pic up the gun.
Thanks!
