Saw in a gun shop for $1500 firm, #1501, rolled over edges, reblued and import marked. Were there any copies made of these when all the Chinese Brooms were imported. How could I tell if this is one of the 8000 made in the 30's and what is it worth? Thanks, Chuck

The Chinese .45 Broom has to be a copy due to the price asked. They are import marked. $1000 is the asking price of these copies. It can't possibly one of the 8000 made in the 30's. They look nice until you try to disassemble one...very rough machining on the internals which makes it difficult to disassemble and assemble.
