Colt- U.S. Army Model of 1911
Serial No: 63103
1 magazine
Shipped to Rock Island Arsenal Feb. 17, 1914 - 1 of 1000 - according to Edward Meadows book on Colt Government Models.

I'm told by a Colt collector that this pistol is considered to be in 98%+ condition. It would seem that this pistol has never seen the inside of a holster as there is no holster wear visible anywhere.

Craig, The two tone mags were the original issue. The difference in color is due to heat treating the upper half to temper the mag lips, so they would retain their spring tension, to keep them from spreading.
