The quality of the early war pieces verse the late war crank them out. The 23xxx is just weeks after German take over of production. the 457xxx is the last months of the war. These two guns are as far apart in production standards as there ever was in any gun production.

Bohemian,

Have you ever seen any of the CZ27s with the slanted serrations on the slide? Jan's book states that they were made in the 17,000 to 21,000 serial # range.
I knew that #23488 was early but did not know how soon the Germans began the military run of CZs. Was this in 1938 or somewhat later?
Thanks!

Ogtree
