The Cz-27 dates to mid to early 41. Its real tough to date the earlier pistols. rumor has it the german production started at around 20000. Would you be willing to share any more detail photos of the pistol and holster. Holster does not look like a normal Cz-27 holster and looks more police like then Military.

Lonnie,

That is one of my holy grail guns right next to a couple of Huggiebears guns that are within 1000 guns of yours. I have 20450 that has all the Czech pre war Slanted grooves and Ceska address on the slide. My pistol has no proofs and a professionally engraves name on the pistol. Your pistol is one of the very first Bohmische marked pistols. Some where very near these serial numbers are where all the no serial number guns were made as well.

Can you tell me more about the markings on the barrel? Is the Nazi firing proof visible thru the ejection port? Is the barrel WaA76 marked on the bottom of the barrel just forward of the locking lugs?

I also have the very same holster that your pistol came in. I have always assumed it was a police pistol. One of my earlier Cz-27's came in my Otto Sindel Berlin 1942 Holster as well. The marking above the maker mark on my holster is clearly the Police mark.

Outstanding Pistol, cherish it greatly. I know I would!
