Just bought this gun yesterday. Upon stripping I noticed that there is not a serial number on the barrel. My eailier Bohmische marked 27 has the serial number on the barrel. Is this just a late war Geter done gun?

Doug and Dave,
I just field stripped the two I have in my collection and neither have the serial number on the barrel. Both barrels are marked with WaA76 and the test proof. Serials on mine are 349123 and 457796, a late one.

Doug, Dave and Dean,

As best I can tell the serial numbers on the barrel dissapeared somewhere around serial number 200000. I think the $225 delivered price is a good deal. Anytime I can get a decent Cz-27 for $200 and shipping is a good deal!

Doug,
The price was excellent! Good luck with it.

Dean,
Those are two nice CZ 27's. My phosphated one is a little younger than yours (409682), and looks as good, but my blue fnh is more of a representative piece!!

Well took the new one out to test fire. Not going to shoot it much, but wanted to make sure it went bang! It did, but I have to manually pull the trigger forward on subsequent shots. Got it home and stripped it down. The side plate was loose, bent it a bit and now it is tight. Screw missing from the main spring. Seems the spring was too long and hammer would not cock because of this. Shortened and installed a screw, but need correct type still. The trigger would not go forward on its own due to a bent spring. Straightened it and all is fine.
