I know a dealer who has this description of a CZ 27, what is the history of this variation? Can it be a fake? What is the value? No photos are available from the source.

CZ27, serial number 255xxx..”SS” proofed on trigger guard 99%

Any help is appreciated.

I would be very leary of anything that is SS marked. I only know of one other Cz-27 that ever had a SS marking on it and I think we determined it was a fake. Unless there is some strong providence then assume it is not real. Of course if the price is right you can always buy it and try some research and visual inspection amoung the pros here.

Purchase is out of the question for a questionable gun.... $900.00, sure not worth it without validation.
