All of us are looking for proofs of the military use of pistols in the 6,35 caliber.
My latest find points a holster for a CZ 36 made of very strong leather and manufactured of excellent quality. The stamp E/280 shows the manufacturer Carl Weiß, Brunswick ( Braunschweig ). In my opinion this company actually has only produces P.08- and P.38 holsters.

For me these holsters are very interesting because a son of the Carl Weiß family was a classmate at the high school.

For your information, Carl Weiß, Braunschweig (cww) also produced holsters for the FN High Power pistol. Regarding the WaA280 acceptance is unusual and for my understanding was never related to any leather manufacturer. 280 was used by Erma on gun parts normally. My guess is that someone wanted to "upgrade" a nice commercial holster for being Wehrmacht. Regards k98man

There is a vz36 just posted on the new NAPCA forums. It has a WaA76 on the right front trigger guard web.
