I am think about buying a CZ24 1927 for $350.00, but one down side is some pitting on slide, does that sound like a good deal?

I'd buy it if the pits are small, but I do not mind that sort of thing since I prefer my military sidearms to show signs of service. And of course they cost less that way. It depends upon the type of gun you wish to collect.
I cannot say whether unit markings increase value - most vz24s I've seen have them.
