I need some help on this. I have a lead on a mint (looks new)[SA] marked P39T holster.

How rare are these? Any idea on value?

While a P.39T holster wouldn't be considered rare ,perhaps uncommon but any holster in mint condition is rare and does demand a premium. Go for it, you won't be sorry later.

Well, I got the gun and have now locked into a possible sale on the holster. The holster is absolutely MINT. And I mean like new. No scuff marks, all stamps clean and very clear.

While I would like to have it, I just don't know if the price (over $400) is worth it.

you are approaching the price of the gun which always makes me nervous but have paid more for a holster than what the gun was worth. Your decision,but remember you will almost never loose any money on a mint holster provided you keep it for a few years. They are just not around anymore.

So far I have not paid more for the holster than what the pistol; was worth. But I have come close to it. Two factors are involved - rarity & condition. From what you say, the condition is outstanding. There aer not many of these. I would buy it in such circumstances.

IF YOU DON'T BUY THE MINT HOLSTER I MAY HAVE AN EXTRA ONE.
I probably have more Finnish holsters than anyone in the US.
