I have purchased two Lugers from Checkpoint Charlies, both of which were fairly rare types. In both cases they were well worn but never-messed-with (not boosted) examples; and a phone conversation with the dealer prior to shipment provided an honest and accurate description. When the Lugers arrived, they were exactly as the dealer had described them . . . no unpleasant surprises.
Having said that, I would be interested in reading the experience of others.
