Is there anyone who can post an exploded view with names of parts so beginners (myself included) can be more specific when asking for information and advice about Lugers? I think it would be very helpful when first entering the site.

Nope, didntfind it on lugerforum.com (animated luger).
There was not a tech info button. Unless its hidden in one of their other links?
I'm sure one of you will know......Is the safety lever (G date S/42)
marked with sn? should it be visible on the front above the grip or under the grip? could it be on back?

Hi Rob,

The G-Date safety lever is marked with the lasy two digits of the serial number. The numbers are on the top of the lever.
