It is marked "Rheinische", but I'm not sure how to tell the diffrence when it comes to the rear sight. I'm no expert on Dreyse. The gun was taken from the main customs office here in Oslo (the capital of Norway) when the germans surrendered in 1945.

To answer your questions on Dreyse M1907, RFV-marked, #217421:

1. It is marked: "Rheinische Metallwaaren & Maschinenfabrik Abt. Sömmerda"
2. It has a reinforced rear sight.
3. It has angled slide serrations.

How rare is this rig?
When was it produced?

Thanks.
