I am hoping that you guys will help me decide if I should buy this gun or not. The asking price is $325. The pictures really do tell all, holster has a small ammount trimmed at the back.

I'd pay it, after I tried to get it for $300. This serial number 29160 is the earliest 42 dated Duo I have data on. It is also in a block of serial numbers that are AKAH marked Duo's. Serial numbers I have on both sides of this serial number are AKAH marked. One is 1100 numbers above and the other is 4000 below.

Looks like it is in very nice shape. $225 to $250 on the pistol and the holster is worth the remaining $75. Are there two mags? My only concern is that it looks so nice that I would wonder if it is refinished.

Robert, I checked the gun over with my Sure Fire light. Sure enough there is a light patina under the blue. That along with the crispness of the lettering. I will call it original finish. I think I will buy it, it will look good next to my Model 9 and 1934 Mauser in .25.
