New member looking for knowledge. I have a first issue Imperial M1908, serial #11b. It is all matching and in very good shape, perhaps 85% or so, pretty fair straw too. The mag is not matching but period with #8075 and a prefix stamp I cannot quite understand stamped into the wood bottom. I also have a brown Imperial Holster marked "MARS Berlin 1915", and loading tool with a mark stamped into it. The three stamps on the right, no other marks other than tiny military stamps here and there. Several parts stamped "11" including the 1913 hold open feature, others plain. No unit markings, never were. Bore is good. I have fired it but I'm fearful of breaking a serial number part and I'm exploring selling to a more serious collector. I figure a two digit from the last batch would be of interest with the desirable accessories. From your database manufacture is "early" 1910?

I have two 1908 First Issues to add to the list,

SN 754
Unit Mark 69.R.M.G.8.
Hold Open added

SN 9009
Unit Mark B.5.R.M.G.25.
No Hold Open

Thanks, Nick
