I just joined this forum (after buying my first luger today) and already I've learned a great deal about it! Thank you all very much.

Serial number is 824XX and is a DWM 7.65. It looked nice and was clean so home it came.

Welcome to the forum. This is a nice looking pistol. You now officially have the dreaded Luger bug. Would like to see some closer up pictures.

Very nice. Since you are now a luger collector, you will have to start on acquiring luger #2.

The other half is not yet aware of this purchase so I'll have to remain discrete for the moment and hold off on detailed pics. I'm a long time collector (more accumulator) of firearms of all types and I'm sure this is just the start with Lugers. I'd really like a Swiss to go with all my Schmidt-Rubins some day.
