I am soliciting opinions as to whether or not replacing the ejector, in the right side of the barrel extension of a 1915 DWM artillery would affect its value. The luger is all matching and in very good condition. I recently noticed that a portion of the ejector is missing (forward ¼ or less). I do not know how this would effect operation as I do not use it for shooting. I assume it is not numbered because it appears to be of spring steel with a strawed finish. If I should decide to replace it could someone recommend a source for a replacement or a company that does this type of work? Thank you!

If you replace it with a period extractor and keep the original extractor, It would not affect the value to me.

Tom Heller (lugerdoc) has parts, e-bay has parts, Marstar has parts, etc.
