Does anyone know where I can find a fake Political leader PPK grips, the PPk I just bought has broken grips. And I like the Political grips better than the walther ones. But real PL grips are too expensive!
I have more than one set for sale. I put them on PPK's for display and freely let people know they are post war repros. The ones I have are the best I've seen. They have the metal insert and were made in Europe. You can contact me at [email protected]
to me this looks like an engraved "Edelweiß" (alpine flower) plus the letter "L" (in Latin handwriting). The "Edelweiß" was and still is the symbol of the "Gebirgsjägerdivision", but I doubt whether this was officially done by an armourer. It looks like an engraving which was done privately - maybe as a present to an officer.
By the way: this gun was made in 1941.
